A more powerful 249-hp 3.3-liter V6 mated to a Shiftronic five-speed automatic transmission is also available. Safety features on all Sonatas include the mandatory dual-stage front-seat airbags; front-seat side-impact airbags for torso protection; and full-coverage side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake assist, and electronic stability control with traction control.
The 2010 Hyundai Sonata is unchanged from the revised 2009 model.
