The fourth generation of Mitsubishi Eclipse GS brings their best as a light sports car. In a compact size, Mitsubishi Eclipse was out last summer with 17 inch wheels, double exhaust pipe, 50/50-split-folding rear seats and full power accessories.
The V6 engine still attains its previous model with 2.4 liter V6 engine with 162 horse power, which will reach 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. The 5 speed manual transmission challenges drivers to trigger its best performance. Yet it still offers optional 4 speed automatic transmission.
The GS model also offers comprehensive safety by providing dual bag front air bags, front seat mounted side-impact air bags for passengers’ safety. At night, all electronic instruments will be illuminated to ice blue lamp. 2009 Eclipse is completed with entertainment of The PUNCH® control and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) audio system throughout 9 speakers from Rockford-Fosgate Premium Audio System with SIRIUS® Satellite Radio with 6 months pre-paid subscription, 6-load CD and MP3 player. SIRIUS® Satellite Radio has nearly 200 channels and some of them are commercial free. The compact shape will definitely helpful when taking little roads. Still passengers will be able to enjoy the nature with the sunroof and HID light at night. Fog lamps are standard for this type.
The price is un-debatable. For maximum performance, you will find nothing like this in other sports car.
